Baby Race scores two World Rok tiltles with Guidetti, Marcon

Baby Race showcased a world-class form in the ROK World Finals event held this weekend at Lonato. The Italian squad cruised to two world championship titles with Jacopo Guidetti in the Junior Rok class and Nicola Marcon in the Shifter Rok category. Guidetti had ended up second at the end of the qualifying heats and then delivered when it mattered, beating all his contenders to hand Baby Race the title. Franco Colapinto also performed well as he moved past the heats to take 9th place.

Marcon, who already won the Italian Shifter Rok series with Baby Race, was third after the heats but once again proved to be the leading force in the category by securing the world title too. There was nothing more to ask from him this season!

Great results also came from the Mini Rok competition. After mastering a long series of heats, Luca Bosco made it to the final, as always. In the end, he sealed third place, a prestigious result for the ever-improving and impressive youngster fielded by Baby Race. Francesco Pizzi and Nikita Bedrin also made it to the final finishing in 17th and 30th place respectively. Despite the good results posted throughout the weekend Vittorio Catino, Alessandro Cenedese and Diego Contecha didn’t make it to the final.

Last but not least, Nicolas Varrone impressed in the Super Rok class. After making his way throughout the heats, he then finished in 12th place.
