Brizhan, Contecha shine in Sarno's Trofeo Senna

Baby Race secured great results in the Trofeo Senna race held last weekend at Sarno with three podium finishes achieved in the three OKJ class finals. After taking second place in qualifying, Alexey Brizhan consistently fought at the front securing two third-place finishes in the first two finals. Unfortunately, in the last race he was forced to retire on lap 1 due to contact with another driver. He was still third in the overall standings, a more than positive result.
Colombian Diego Contecha was equally remarkable in his first experience in OK Junior. Fifth in qualifying, Contecha finished sixth in the first two finals. Then in the Final 3 put together a spectacular drive, ending up with a second place. He ended up sixth in the overall ranking. Also lining-up in OKJ, Ksenia Phoenix was ninth in qualifying and in the first race. After having to retire from the second final immediately, she took P8 in the third one and was tenth in the overall, continuing in her approach with the series.
Asia Mondino left a strong impression in the X30 Senior class. Fifteenth out of twenty-six drivers in qualifying, the Baby Race female driver took the 13th and 14th place in the first two finals. While battling in sixth place in the third final, she lost ground and crossed the line 11th. She ended up 17th overall.
