Brizhan, Lorandi and Baby Race vice champions in WSK Final Cup

The WSK Final Cup ended up with Alexey Brizhan second overall in standings at the end of the 2-week event at Adria. It was a tough challenge for the drivers and the team, but nonetheless it brought great results to Sandro Lorandi's operation. The Russian scored 105 points versus the 109 of the championship winner. After an excellent second place in Pre Final, Brizhan finished the Final in seventh position due tosome unlucky events. It's a shame, but that does not hamper a top-class weekend. Luca Bosco finished the Final on the third step of the podium, the same position (with 89 points) he held in the WSK Final Cup general ranking.

Nikita Bedrin, winner of the first heat, was unlucky in the mini class. In Pre-Final A he battled for the win, but made contact with a rival, losing the access to the Final and consequently the chance to win the WSK Final Cup. In the Final race, the team was represented by the lone Ruslan Fomin, who managed the situation well and took P4. In the WSK Final Cup standing, Fomin was sixth with Bedrin fourth. Rashid Al Dhaheri, Patrick Fraboni and Max Popov did not pass the Pre Finals, while Francesco Lorandi was excluded after the heats.

In the OK series, Leonardo Marseglia continued the adaptation period to the new series he is facing, capturing 17th place in the Finals. Last but not least, Alessio Lorandi, who dominated the previous weekend, got a flat tire in the KZ Pre Final. Finishing 12th in the Final, he amazingly recovered up to P1. Passed by Viganò, Lorandi tried to retrieve the lead but the two made contact and had to retire. In the WSK Final Cup rankings, Lorandi finished second with 111 points versus the 165 of Iacovacci.
